User Permissions

Permissions for users based on their access level

Different roles provide users with varied access levels in your account. The current available roles are: Owner, Admin, Read/Write, Editor, Docent, and Read-Only.

Owner

Can do all available operations. Owner specific permissions include:

  • Manage account-level settings, including establishing default settings and the account profile.
  • Add, edit, and remove users from the account. 
  • Original account subscribers can update the billing information and subscription within the app. 

 Admin

  • Manage web publishing settings.
  • Bulk add/edit/delete Entries.
  • Add/edit/delete/replace Profiles. 
  • Publish and unpublish Entries and Folders.
  • Create Folder Groups and Folders.
  • Export account data. 

Read-Write

  • Add/edit/delete single Entries. 
  • Add/edit/delete/replace Profiles. 
  • For bulk operations, can add new data only, cannot replace or delete existing data. 
  • Create Folders.
  • Export account data. 

Editor

  • Add/edit Entries and Profiles. Cannot delete Entries or delete or replace Profiles. 

Docent

  • View all records.
  • Download images and other attached files. Cannot export data from the account.

Read-Only

  • View all records.
