Embedding Media Within Fields
Embedded Media allows you to attach images, documents, and other media directly within specific record fields, adding visual context to detailed documentation.
This feature is now available in several key profile types.
Where You Can Embed Media
You can now attach media within the following expansion panels:
- Acquisition
- Condition
- Conservation
- Interpretive Labels
- Inscription / Signature / Marks
Adding Embedded Media
To attach media within a supported field:
- Open the relevant Entry.
- Navigate to the section you want to embed media within (ex. Condition, Inscription/Signature/Marks)
- Locate the Add Media box.
- Upload or select your media.
- Save your changes.
How Embedded Media Works
- Media is stored directly within the field, alongside your descriptive text
- It provides immediate visual reference without needing to navigate away
- Multiple media items can be added where appropriate
